About Lexpoint
Built on Principle, Grounded in Practice
Lexpoint has served clients in Bangkok for over fifteen years — providing structured legal counsel with clarity and care.
Back to HomeOur Story
Lexpoint was founded in Bangkok with a clear intention: to offer foreign investors and businesses operating in Thailand a reliable legal partner that communicates plainly and acts with consistency. The firm has grown steadily through referrals — a reflection of the relationships we build and the care we bring to every matter.
Our practice covers three areas where legal clarity is especially valuable for international clients — establishing businesses in Thai law, managing commercial disputes, and ensuring cross-border documents meet legal requirements. Each area demands different knowledge, and we have invested deliberately in depth rather than breadth.
We believe that good legal counsel begins with honest communication. Clients are told what their options are, what each path involves, and what to realistically expect. Work does not begin without fee agreement, and no client is kept in the dark about the progress of their matter.
Our Mission
To provide foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and individuals in Thailand with precise, dependable legal support — delivered without jargon and with full transparency at every stage.
Our Approach
We treat each matter as distinct. Clients receive counsel shaped by their specific circumstances, not template responses. Where litigation is not the best path, we say so. Where risk exists, we explain it clearly.
Our Commitment
Fees are agreed in advance. Communication is prompt. Work is thorough. We hold ourselves to the professional standards expected of Thai Bar Association members, and to the personal standards our clients deserve.

How We Work
Thai Bar Association
All practicing attorneys at Lexpoint hold membership with the Thai Bar Association, maintaining required continuing education and professional standards.
Written Fee Agreements
No engagement begins without a signed fee agreement. Clients know exactly what they will pay before any work proceeds — no surprises and no ambiguity.
Client Confidentiality
All client information is held in strict confidence and stored securely. Legal professional privilege applies to all communications with our attorneys.
Honest Assessment
Clients receive frank evaluations of their legal position — including the less comfortable aspects. We consider this a basic professional obligation.
Consistent Communication
Clients receive regular updates on active matters. We respond to queries within one business day and flag delays or developments as they arise.
International Awareness
A significant portion of our clients are foreign nationals. We understand the complexity of operating across legal systems and communicate clearly in English throughout.
Our Expertise
Thailand's legal framework for foreign business activity has developed considerably over the past two decades. The Foreign Business Act, the Civil and Commercial Code, and sector-specific regulations create a layered environment that rewards careful planning and penalises assumptions carried over from other jurisdictions. Lexpoint has developed its practice in direct response to the questions foreign investors most frequently encounter when operating here.
Business formation work at the firm goes beyond registration mechanics. Clients receive a structured comparison of available entity types — from limited companies under Thai law to BOI-promoted structures that may offer specific operational advantages. Each comparison accounts for the client's business model, ownership intentions, and long-term plans in-country. The process is documented at every stage so clients understand what has been done and why.
Commercial litigation in Thailand follows civil procedure rules that differ in important ways from common law systems. Court timelines, evidence standards, and enforcement mechanisms each require specific knowledge to navigate effectively. The firm's litigation practice is built around that knowledge — and around a commitment to honest case assessment that allows clients to make decisions based on realistic expectations rather than optimism.
Document authentication for international use involves careful attention to destination requirements. The authentication pathway for a document intended for use in Germany differs from one heading to Singapore or the United States. Lexpoint treats this detail as core to the service — reducing the risk of rejected documents and the delays that follow.
